Description
A true bantam (it has no standard size equivalent), the Porcelain is known to be hardy, resilient, and able to adapt well to cold weather, but may need shade in the hotter months. They get their name from plumage consisting of a soft cream color with blue, lavender, or gray highlights creating a porcelain effect. These birds also have feathered legs and “puffy” cheeks. The Porcelain is a calm, social-able bird that make great additions to community flocks. Like most bantam breeds, they are good setters and have good feed conversion. Overall, the Porcelain is a stunning addition to any flock and an excellent show quality bird.
